AFP Position Available at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes
We are looking for a dynamic community leader to join our team as an Advance Funeral Planner (AFP). AFP’s are community leaders who use their interpersonal skills to build relationships and market the services of the funeral home. This outside sales representative and community liaison is responsible for helping families prearrange and prefund final arrangements with Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes.
This team member will have a meaningful career helping community members plan for a very important event, while having a strong income opportunity. The ideal candidate will be professional, self-motivated, outgoing and looking to help families in their community.
Qualified Candidates:
• Must possess an upstanding reputation
• Strong interpersonal sales abilities
• Easily develops relationships and consistently networks in community • Ability to effectively finalize a buying decision with client families
• Ability to maintain a routine to generate sales activity
• Professional Attire Required
• Comfortable with commission-based position
• Current life insurance license or the ability to obtain one
• The ideal candidate must be able to successfully close
appointments, possess a self-motivated attitude, and be able to generate leads.
Job Type: Full-time Compensation (Commission Based): $50,000 to $75,000++/year, depending on experience
Experience: Outside or Inside Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
License: Life or Limited Life Insurance License (or ability to obtain)
